“It’s Time to Let that Past GO”

Isaiah 43:18-19  “Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.”

We all have a past and there is something in that past that may not be that good that is making it hard to let go and start anew.  Well GOD does not want you to hold onto those things, he wants you to release those things and do according to him.  It’s time for you to live and live the life that he has designed for you.

Lean on the word, it will help you.  There are some steps you must take and the most important one is admitting that you have an issue from your past that is causing you to go forth in your future.  You will not receive what’s ahead if you do not let what’s  behind goes.  That from the past may be something that you are not proud of but you must let it go, forgive yourself for it and forgive others that may have also been involved.  FORGIVENESS is a big key to letting it go.

Some people keeps talking about the past, stop talking about it unless you are doing so to encourage, warn, or let others know that there is another way you do not have to take this route.  Once you close that chapter of your past you will be able to walk by faith in a way you thought was impossible.  It’s time to enjoy your life and have all that GOD said you could have; peace, joy, happiness, love, and much more.

Remember you need to take your life into your hands and let GOD lead you in the way you should go.

Below are a few scriptures for you to read but search the Bible for scriptures to help you alone your journey of letting the past go and leaving it just where it is.

Proverbs 3:5-6Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. “

Jeremiah 29:11  “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.”

Ephesians 4:31-32 Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice. Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.”

Philippians 4:6  “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. “

Read, pray, and meditate on the word daily.  If you need someone to help you along the way find you an accountability partner that will help you.  Make sure you can truly trust this person first of all. GOD Bless You Much Love

Joshua 1:8 “This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.”

“Footprints in the Sand”

One night I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord.
Many scenes from my life flashed across the sky.
In each scene I noticed footprints in the sand.
Sometimes there were two sets of footprints,
other times there was one only.
This bothered me because I noticed that during the low periods of my life,
when I was suffering from anguish,
sorrow or defeat,
I could see only one set of footprints,
so I said to the Lord,
“You promised me Lord,
that if I followed you,
you would walk with me always.
But I have noticed that during the most trying periods of my life
there has only been one set of footprints in the sand.
Why, when I needed you most, have you not been there for me?”
The Lord replied,
“The years when you have seen only one set of footprints,
my child, is when I carried you.”

“KNOW your Purpose”

Ephesians 2:10 “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”

Each one of us has a purpose in life.  If you do not know your purpose you will need to then seek GOD and his word to find out exactly what your purpose is, if you still have issues with what your purpose is then you may need to fine you a coach (Life  Coach or Purpose Advisor).  GOD wants you to lead the promised life, get busy with doing what he has called you to do.

On your search for finding what he has designed you to do or be, make sure you don’t waste your time on things that is not of GOD. Some things that a spouse, a significant other, a friend, or an associate may say you should do may sound good, but it may not be for you so don’t be persuaded into doing things others believe is good for you.

Be patient and trust GOD, it will come to you.  The pieces of that puzzle of what you are designed to be will come together but not at once.  One way of knowing what your purpose is, is to do something that interests you.

It will take a while for it to come but don’t give up.

Romans 12:4-8 “For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.  We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith; if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully.”

Seek GOD, read his word, pray on his word, and meditate on his word.  GOD Bless You Much Love Clara Peters, Purpose Advisor

“Loving Yourself”

May I ask you a question, how do you expect someone to love you if you don’t love you?

1 Corinthians 13:4-8 says that “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.  Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.  It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.  Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.”

The first place in finding love is in you.  Forgiving yourself and asking GOD for forgiveness for whatever there is that you do not like in your life whether present or past is a must to start that process of loving you.  I am always saying love yourself.  My thing is how you expect someone else to love you if you don’t love you.  Better yet the bible says love thy neighbor as you love your self; if you don’t love you then you not giving that neighbor that love as required in the bible.  When I say love you, I am talking about in every area; respect yourself, care about yourself, protect yourself, like yourself, just to name a few.

When you are in that process of loving you, find out what you like and enjoy doing.  By doing this, it is a way of you not only telling someone what you like to do but also it will help you to help someone that does not love themselves.  GOD wants you to love you, so get busy in finding that inner you.

Most people may not love themselves because of how they have been treated by others.  Remember that GOD defines you not other people.  You were made in his image so therefore what others say doesn’t mean a thing.  Psalms 139:14 says, “I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvelous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.”

Read, study, pray, and meditate on the word as it will help guide you into loving yourself.  Below are a few reference scriptures.

Proverbs 19:8 “Whoever gets sense loves his own soul; he who keeps understanding will discover good.”

1 Timothy 4:12 “Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.”

1 John 3:1 “See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him.”

Romans 13:8-10 “Owe no one anything, except to love each other, for the one who loves another has fulfilled the law. For the commandments, “You shall not commit adultery, You shall not murder, You shall not steal, You shall not covet,” and any other commandment, are summed up in this word: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” Love does no wrong to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.”

Luke 6:27 “But I say to you who hear, Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you”

When you get to the point where you love yourself you have made a connection with GOD.  I want you to start today with speaking a positive word over yourself, speak life into you, show love to you, tell yourself daily those three words (I LOVE YOU SAY YOUR NAME), smile and be happy.

As always continue to read the word, pray over the word, study the word, and meditate on the word.  GOD Bless You Much Love Minister Clara Peters

“The Appointed Time”

What season are you in?  Have you ever thought about the season you are in?  Have you ever wondered much about the seasons at all?  Well here are four scriptures you can read to help you understand the seasons.

Ecclesiastes 3:1 “For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven:”

With everything in life there is an appointed time, things happen as it should according to the season.  When a farmer has to plant his crop, he has to do it doing a specific season otherwise the harvest will not grow.  You must look at the what, the when, and the how in everything you do.  Those three things mean a lot when you are in your season.

As you grow in the spirit you will learn to recognize your due season.  The timing of your season is for you alone not anyone else.  Also, what your harvest is it is for you and you alone, it will not look like any other as it is once again for you alone.

Galatians 6:6-9 “Let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all good things.  Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.  For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.  And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”

What you do will determine all that you will reap in life at that appointed time.

There are four seasons in a year; winter, spring, summer, and fall.  Each one has anew in it, that is the same way with your life.  You may be in a season where things are like the fall and you are reaping a mighty harvest, or you may be in the winter season where it is that forming stage but it is not at the point for it to be birthed so you can reap that harvest.  Whatever the season you are in embrace it, and continue to lean on GOD so he can give you the right direction.  He will guide you in every step.

Don’t be discouraged if things are not where you want them to be, we have to be patient in everything.

Read, study, and meditate on Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 as it tells us that there is a season, a time, and a purpose concerning our lives.

Daniel 2:21 says “He changes times and seasons; he removes kings and sets up kings; he gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding;”

Genesis 8:22 states, “While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night, shall not cease.”

By knowing what season you are in will help you with the directions on how you should handle what you have going on right now.  Remember GOD will guide you but you will have to seek him.  GOD Bless You Much Love Minister Clara Peters

“The Potter and the Clay”

Jeremiah 18:5-6

Then the Lord gave me this message: “O Israel, can I not do to you as this potter has done to his clay? As the clay is in the potter’s hand, so are you in my hand.

Isaiah 64:8 “And yet, O Lord, you are our Father.  We are the clay, and you are the potter.  We all are formed by your hand.”

GOD is the potter and we are the clay.  When something is being molded, it is being shaped into whatever the potter is designing it to be.  Don’t be afraid as to what GOD wants to mold you into, just welcome it as it will be amazing.  He will not disappoint you.

We must do our part in the process of being molded by being cleansed by GOD’s word.  We must not only read the word but we must understand the word.  The Holy Spirit will help in making sure we understand the word, which will give us knowledge.

Think of the potter not having enough water to mix with the clay.  One does not work without the other.  The potter needs the water just as GOD needs us to get in the word.

The potter starts molding in the center as the clay is placed in the middle of the wheel to begin the molding and the shaping.  Once we are centered in Jesus Christ, GOD will start molding and shaping us into what he wants to design us to be.  Don’t get off track, stay focus so that the process of him molding you is done in the manner it should be.

I say to you, let GOD mold you to be that person he wants you to become.  Remember he knows what he wants you to be and do.  Don’t be one of those that do not let him mold you by not spending time in the word, be one that wants to be molded.

Ephesians 3:20  Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us”

Read the word, study the word, pray on the word, and meditate on the word daily.
