“Let’s Finish Strong”

2 Corinthians 8:11 “So now finish doing it as well, so that your readiness in desiring it may be matched by your completing it out of what you have.”

No matter what is going on in your life that has stagnated you from what you have started, get back on track so you can finish strong.  You did not start it to fail you started it to finish and to finish strong.  Sometimes fear comes in and takes you off track but I am hear to tell you that you need to rebuke that fear, dance on that fear, and speak a mighty powerful word of that fear and go ahead and finish what you start.  You CAN do you.

There is going to be challenges we are going to face each day, but it is how we handle those challenges that matters.  So with that said is that whatever that challenge you may encounter daily or whenever keep pressing forward toward that finish line, GOD is with you.  Lean on those bible verses below to help you in your quest to finish.  Write them down, place them on your desk, in your wallet, on your memory board, wherever you may need to look at them real quick place it there and be encouraged.

Below are a few bible verses you can read and meditate on.

Deuteronomy 31:6 “Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.”

Psalm 23:4 “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.”

Psalm 27:1 “The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?”

Psalm 31:24 “Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the LORD.”

1 Chronicles 28:20 “And David said to Solomon his son, Be strong and of good courage, and do it: fear not, nor be dismayed: for the LORD God, even my God, will be with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee, until thou hast finished all the work for the service of the house of the LORD.”

I encourage you today to finish and to finish strong.  GOD does not want you to fail, he wants you to succeed.  So lean on that mighty word of his at all times.  Let’s FINISH STRONG.

Read the word, pray on the word, and meditate on the word daily.  GOD Bless You Much Love Minister Clara Peters

“Live the Legacy you want to leave NOW”

Two questions: What do you want people to remember about you?  What are you going to do to make that possible?

Proverbs 10:7  “ The memory of the just is blessed: but the name of the wicked shall rot.”

Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.

You may say I am not smart enough, I am not beautiful, I am not whatever….however, what you should say is that I am a child of GOD.  He wants you to live accordingly and not worry about what the world may think of you but what he think of you.  He has you just lean on him and live that legacy that he put in you.

Live a legacy not only by the way you live but also by the way you die.  Make it a legacy that can be passed on from generation to generation.

Say this scripture so you can be cleanse of your past sins and start living that legacy that awaits you.  1 John 1:9 “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”

GOD is giving you a chance as he has sparred your life so you can live that life that is worthy to live and leave a mighty legacy.  If your legacy is that of being an amazing mother/grandmother, then so be it as that is one of the most highly legacy that one can leave. Whatever the legacy is that you want to leave, make that choice today to start living it.  From this day forth say what your legacy will be and live it.

Sunrise – Sunset, that hyphen is your life, your legacy.

Read, study, and meditate on the word that will help you leave that mighty legacy.

“Having and Stepping Out on Faith”

2 Corinthians 5:7 “For we walk by faith, not by sight”

Luke 9:23-24 “Then he said to them all: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.  For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will save it.”

It’s time out for being afraid to do what you know you should be doing, you need to practice that faith that you say you have even if you have to do it in baby steps but you need to do it.

Hebrews 11: 6 says, “But without faith it is impossible to please God. For he that cometh to God, must believe that He is, and He is a rewarder to those that seek Him.”

If you say you trust and believe in GOD then ask yourself why can’t I just have that Faith and step out on what he has called me to do and be.  We must become more focused on GOD than self.  We should center our life on his ways and not our ways.

By aligning yourself up with GOD, it will help you to experience his will.

I leave you with this scripture. Romans 12:2 “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”

Spend time with GOD, meditate on his word, and go forth and activate your faith.

“Breaking the Chain, Get Free from Bondage”

Being set free from bondage

Let’s be real about it, we have all been in bondage, some of us still are.  That bondage is a variety of things in our everyday lives. It can be jealousy, alcohol, drugs, grief, hate, fornication, and more that keeps you separated from the love and legacy of God. We can do several things that can get us out of this bondage, however, the most important things is to go to God so he can guide you out of that that is keeping you from where you should be.  Don’t be scared; don’t be discouraged, you are not alone.  One thing I will suggest here is to wear the full Armor of God each day as it will help you overcome when the enemy tries to attack you as you are trying to break through being in bondage.

Read and study Ephesians 6:10-18 it states: “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.  Put on the whole armour of God that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.  For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.  Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.  Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;  Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.  And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints” These verses are known as the fight to the finish.  So I say to you fight that fight and don’t give up until you come out victorious at the end.

Read and meditate on these scriptures below as they will help you on your path.

Psalm 2:3 “Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.”

Proverbs 29:25 “Fear of man will prove to be a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord is kept safe. “

1 Peter 5:7 “Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.”

James 1:2-6 “Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him. But when he asks, he must believe and not doubt, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.”

1 Corinthians 10:13 “No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it.”

James 4:7 “Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.”

1 Corinthians 3:16-17 “Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit lives in you? If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy him; for God’s temple is sacred, and you are that temple.”

Proverbs 19:23 “The fear of the Lord leads to life: Then one rests content, untouched by trouble.”

1 John 2:15-17 “Do not love the world nor the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the boastful pride of life, is not from the Father, but is from the world. The world is passing away, and also its lusts; but the one who does the will of God lives forever. “

Matt 7:7-8 “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.”

Galatians 6:7-8 “A man reaps what he sows. The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature will reap destruction; the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.”

1 Corinthians 3:11 “For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ.”

It is time for you to allow God to break you free from your chain(s) of bondage and put you on the pathway to freedom.  If you are not sure if you can do this alone, then get you an accountability partner.  That partner must be someone that is going to hold you to what you are trying to accomplish, they are on the path you are striving to get to, they are someone that will get in your face when you are slipping and tell you that you are wrong and what you need to do to get back on track, and someone that is going to be there for you from the beginning to the end.  This person must be also of the same gender, that way a strong man want lead a weak woman and vice versa.

My prayer is that this helps someone be set free from something today and know that no matter what they can always go to their Father for help.  God loves you and want the best for you so let him.

Ephesians 4:31-32 “Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice.  Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.”

I tell you that having the right attitude is the way it should be at all times.  If you think that you can have whatever type of attitude you want in all things you are sadly mistaken.  No one take heed to a person that has a bad attitude and thinks that things are to be done his/her way.  You have to always be positive and when you go into a new environment you must pay attention and adhere to that environment but still keep that positive attitude.  For example, if you attend a new Church or start a new job, pay attention to their culture so you can blend in with them yet still have that positive attitude.  No one want to be around a person who thinks they are above them, knows it all, etc.

Below is a list I gave to a ministry I was over a few years ago, I also gave this list to some people I worked with as well.  It was greatly appreciated by all, mostly mothers whom young daughters I gave this list to.

  1. Attitude is everything.
  2. You become what you think.
  3. Never complain about what you permit.
  4. The only difference between a good day and a bad day is your attitude.
  5. No one can lower your self esteem without your consent.
  6. Most people think knowledge is power; however, applied knowledge is power.
  7. Practice will not make you perfect but it will make you better.
  8. If you always do what you have always done, you will always get what you have always got.
  9. Your success or failure will be determined by two factors (1) the books you read and (2) the people you associate with.
  10. Find something to laugh/smile about everyday.
  11. Even if there’s nothing to laugh about, laugh on credit.
  12. Before you go to sleep at night, ask yourself the following question: What did I do today to get closer to my goal(s)? (you must have a written down set of goals)

Having the right attitude with take you a long way in life, if you do not have that you need to seek GOD in guiding you to having that attitude.  Walking around any other way is being a ticking time bomb that is waiting to go off any minute, why live that way?

May GOD Bless you on this beautiful day, enjoy it to the fullest and always keep that attitude that is right with GOD.  Love You Minister Clara Peters

2 Corinthians 5:17 “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come”

“New Day”

Psalm 118:24 “This is the day the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.”

You should claim your new day and all that is in it just for you.

I am big on thanking GOD each morning I awaken and let him know that I love him because he gives me new life each morning.  Each of us has our own issues in life however; we should start each day with love in our heart, a smile on our face, and peace.  GOD has granted you this new day so don’t disappoint him by not doing right by what he has giving you.  Remember, what we do each day is very important to GOD.   What you did yesterday was for yesterday’s new day and what you do tomorrow is for that new day, what counts right now is what you do for the new day today.  Do something good, get closer to GOD, reach a goal that is on that list, and just be happy. Stop waiting until because until may never happen, do it right now.  Once again be happy.

I leave you with these verses to meditate on today.

Isaiah 40:31  “But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.”

2 Corinthians 5:17 “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.”

Make this new day meaningful, it will matter just that much more for you if you did.

Enjoy this new day that is a bless day full of peace, joy, and happiness.  Don’t let anything stop you for being all that he wants you to be on this day, go forth and live well, love much, and laugh often.
